You’ll Need:
Blow Dryer
Volumizing Product
Round Brush
Hair Spray.
How-To
1. After you shower, wait until your hair is about 80% dry to reduce the risk of adding extra damage to it by the blow dryer.
2. Apply a volumizing product to your damp hair (mousse, styling lotion etc). I like TIGI Bed Head Superstar Blowdry Lotion. Flip your head over and blow dry the roots only for 30 seconds to a minute. If you blow dry all of your hair when your head is upside down, it can become poofy, not voluminous. By blow drying upside down, you are creating natural lift to the roots.
3 Flip your head back up and brush it lightly to smooth out any tangles.
4. Start taking 1 inch sections of your hair at the crown of your head and blow dry them with a round brush. With each section of hair, over-direct it in the opposite direction that you want it to fall. This creates even more volume.
5. Flip your head upside down one more time and spray your hair with hairspray.
Thank you!! That means a lot coming from a curly haired girl with fabulous hair like yourself! I was going to mention not shampooing, but ended up leaving it out, thanks for mentioning it here! And thanks for the products tips!!
